This charming fragment is Pala-Indian and most probably gilded later in Tibet.
It has been part of the stem of a mandala, and depicts some of the mahasiddhas on
cemeteries, so the mandala was for a tantric fierce deity, like Yamantaka, Hevajra or
Chakrasamvara. Solid cast in deep relief in coppery bronze.
India, Pala, 11th Century. Ht. 15cm. Perspex mount.
